For the short film "Paradise" by Keanu Pioch, a graduation project of the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, we are currently looking for small actresses (f/d) to play the cashier in a supermarket.
Logline of the project:
Werner's everyday life is characterized by dreariness and loneliness. His daily trip to the amusement arcade becomes a compensatory routine. Even though his life is on shaky ground, Werner bravely gets by. But when a mysterious new neighbor turns up one night, Werner increasingly loses control. A plastic bag full of money turns reality completely upside down and Werner breaks for good.
As we are a student production, we are unfortunately unable to pay a fee. However, delicious catering is provided and you are welcome to use the results later for your showreel and portfolio!
Please send an application with the following information
- a portrait and full body photo
- first and last name
- age, place of residence
- if you have one, please also send us a showreel to give us an idea of your acting skills
We look forward to receiving your application!
Contact: Jakob (1st assistant director)
The scene takes place in a supermarket where the main protagonist can no longer manage to pay for his purchases. The role of the cashier accepts this in an annoyed and detached manner.
We are looking for a pithy person, preferably with tattoos, who can authentically embody and play such a role.
The role has text and acting. Enjoyment of and experience in acting are therefore desirable!
