Job description
We are looking for actors for our comedy short film "The Film that went wrong: Murder at Wetherby Manor" (working title). A chaotic, self-deprecating murder-mystery in which everything goes wrong. More info on concept, roles and application process attached.
You slip into the role of a stereotypical murder-mystery character and at the same time into the skin of an actor who messes up this role magnificently. How you do this
is up to you: Some ideas are already noted in the script, but there is still room for your own ideas. The main thing is that it's funny and exaggerated!
How to apply:
Shoot a short video (max. 2 minutes) with your interpretation of the role (including "acting mishaps", see role description).
Include your name, height, place of residence and the desired role.
Submit the video here by Friday, May 15
Applications WITHOUT VIDEO CANNOT BE CONSIDERED
The shoot is expected to take place at the beginning of June. A filming location is currently being determined, more information on this as soon as possible. The film will be shot and filmed in English.

Role / Requirements profile
Scarlett Goodwill - the attractive daughter
Stereotype: The femme fatale who behaves far too sexually and emphasizes every sentence with a wink.
Actor ideas:
- Constantly tries to strike "attractive" poses, but forgets her lines or misses her cue
- Looks directly into the camera and "flirts" with the audience
- Gets tangled up in her own scarf or skirt
Monologue:
Oh my! I just cannot believe mother is gone! Surely, Mr. Finch, you wouldn't suspect little old me? I was in the library the whole evening, reading poetry. (bites lip) Alone. Well, mostly alone. Mr. Hardwick might have wandered in and watched me for a bit.
