Actors (m/f) for a Victorian-era student horror film in front of an LED wall

Graduation film from the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg by award-winning director Vanessa Stachel. The film will be about 15 minutes long and will be shot in front of an LED wall on a Victorian London set that we’ve built. We are all volunteers, but the film will be available in the SWR media library.

5 full days of filming near Ulm / Stuttgart / Augsburg from July 25 to July 29.

Please apply only if you are from this area! As a student production, we cannot provide hotel accommodations, so participants must commute daily.

Story:

Victorian London, 1868:
ADA (18) hopes that the very rich and very handsome CECIL (25) will propose to her. Tonight she is invited to his so-called “Unwrapping Party.” It’s a social event for the upper class where an ancient Egyptian mummy will be unwrapped. As the evening progresses and the atmosphere becomes more relaxed, Ada can no longer stand the sexist jokes of Cecil’s friends, and when she realizes that Cecil has been toying with her, her rage awakens the over 3,000-year-old Egyptian mummy queen. Havoc and chaos are sure to follow...

There are 7 different roles to fill, for ages 18 to 60, such as Victorian party guests and staff. A few also have a small amount of dialogue (in English) or are shown in close-up.

Beards and hairstyles that can be styled in a historically accurate way are welcome
