Actors and actresses in their prime (m/f/d) for a commercial shoot in the “insurance” sector

For a commercial in the vox pop format (street interviews), we are looking for authentic performers who can convincingly portray passersby being interviewed spontaneously. The format thrives on genuine, unstaged energy—we’re not looking for traditional acting, but rather a natural, reactive presence in front of the camera.

The client is a German insurance company; two different insurance products will be advertised.

APPLICATION

Please send us:

• 2–3 recent photos (no professional photoshoot needed—everyday shots are ideal)

• A short self-introduction as a cell phone video (a few sentences are enough, e.g.:

1. Who are you?
Tell us your name, where you’re from, and what you do—job, studies, hobbies, whatever comes to mind first.

2. When was the last time you got upset or surprised by something—and why?
It can be something completely trivial. We’re interested in how you react when something surprises or annoys you.

3. Imagine someone approaches you on the street with a microphone. How do you usually react?
Do you stop? Do you get nervous? Do you make a joke? Just answer honestly.)

CASTING CALL

We are casting a total of 4–6 roles. Applications from the following categories are welcome:

Role C – Older actors (60+ years old)
Character traits: warm-hearted, slightly shy—the moment of reflection is particularly important here.

All genders and backgrounds are welcome. We are intentionally seeking a diverse cast that reflects the breadth of society.

REQUIREMENTS

• On-camera experience is a plus, but not required—a natural demeanor is more important than formal acting training

• Ability to convincingly portray short, spontaneous-seeming reactions and responses

• Reliability and punctuality on the day of filming

• Full transfer of rights for TV, online, and social media use (buyout)
