Job description
INNENRAUM is an emotional chamber drama about trust, loss, and the question of why people cling to relationships that have long since ceased to be good for them.
At the center of the story is Flo, who, after a painful breakup with someone important to him, is on the verge of being consumed by his own thoughts and feelings. During a quiet moment after weathering a struggle, he has an intense conversation with Leia that gradually uncovers the deeper causes of his inner conflicts.
Through Leia’s perspectives, questions, and insights, Flo is forced to confront the truths he has been running from. The story does not focus on why a friendship has broken down, but rather on the role we ourselves play in our own suffering—and how much courage it takes to let go of old dynamics.

Openness to rehearsal work
Application: Self-tape of the attached script excerpt
Flo is a sensitive person who craves harmony, avoids conflict for a long time, and finds it difficult to let go of relationships. He clings to the past and often realizes too late when he is crossing his own boundaries.
The role traverses several emotional levels:
Frustration
Grief
Defense and justification
Confusion
Realization
Acceptance
The ability to make thought processes visible is particularly important. Many of the character’s turning points do not occur through action, but through inner realizations.
Acting requirements:
Authentic portrayal of vulnerability
Ability to build emotional shifts subtly and believably
Expressive facial expressions and presence in quiet scenes
Experience with dramatic or psychologically demanding roles is an advantage
Particularly interesting for the role: The character carries the bulk of the film’s emotional development. It offers the opportunity to portray a complex inner transformation—from the perspective of a victim to an honest confrontation with one’s own patterns.
Gender
Male / Non-binary
Acting age
18 – 28 years
