Actor (m/d) as "Prosecutor" for the interactive theater "The Jury Experience"

Fever Labs Inc. (short: Fever) is looking for an actor for the role of prosecutor Scott Davis for its interactive theater "The Jury Experience".

For the new Leipzig production, the company is looking for a new cast for the first case in the series. "The Jury Experience" is a series of interactive theater experiences based on fictional court cases. The first case to be developed is about a self-driving car and the accident it caused.

The audience takes on the role of the jury and decides via smartphone whether evidence or witness statements are admitted and whether the defendant is found guilty. The final outcome of the play is therefore decided by the audience. The actors represent the various court parties and must react to the decisions of the "jury" during the performance.

Since no travel and accommodation costs to and within Leipzig can be covered, we are specifically targeting applicants residing in Leipzig.

We offer:

• Work in a completely new cast

• 40 hours of rehearsals for a total of 900.00 EUR (net, all fees plus VAT).)
  (Rehearsal time expected to be two weeks in half-time with 4 hours of rehearsal per day,
   rehearsal days can be freely arranged with the director and the players)

• 400.00 EUR daily fee for performances (two performances per day)

• 150.00 EUR travel allowance for performances outside Leipzig

• if applicable. Assumption for further cases within the series (new rehearsal fees in each case)

Performances from February 13 at the earliest. February 2026

We are looking for:

• an actor, male, playing age: 35-55

• completed, professional acting studies

• fluent German language skills, at best native level

• experience or affinity for interactive formats is desirable, but not a requirement

• private accommodation in Leipzig is necessary

Role description:
STAATSANWALT. Scott Davis. male (35-55)

Scott is a passionate advocate for humanistic justice. His approach combines empathy, ethics and an understanding of human dignity with the law. He is meticulous and committed. It is important to him that new technologies respect human rights. Carl understands that technological advancement is inevitable, but his mission is to lead the way in creating fair and ethical regulations for this new field. He doesn't want to slow down progress, he wants to humanize it. Cate (the defense attorney) and he met at university, where he was a teaching assistant. Teaching gave him a didactic way of expressing himself in court. His voice is calm and persuasive, less aggressive. He inspires confidence in his listeners and appeals to both their logic and their emotions.
