Actor (m/d) as "Leon" for the student short film "Known Unknown"

For our student short film Known Unknown I am looking for a male actor for the role of Leon. The movie is in the thriller genre with small horror elements and tells the story of a young woman who increasingly doubts the people around her after a murder case. You can expect a motivated team and the opportunity to take on a central role in a student film project.

The film should be about 3-4 minutes long at the end.

Leon is a student in his early to mid-20s and is one of Lisa's closest caregivers. He appears calm, sensible and caring on the outside. After the murder in the city park, he becomes increasingly worried about Lisa and repeatedly tries to warn her about her surroundings. He often appears serious and thoughtful, as if he knows more than he is letting on.

In the course of the story, Leon becomes a difficult character to assess. His warnings seem sincere at first, but at the same time his behavior and mysterious nature ensure that doubts about his intentions arise time and again. As a result, the role constantly shifts between familiarity and mistrust. Leon is not a loud or pushy person, but creates tension primarily through looks, body language and subtle emotions.
