Job description
For our student short film Known Unknown I am looking for a male actor for the role of Alex. The movie is in the thriller genre with small horror elements and tells the story of a young woman who increasingly doubts the people around her after a murder case. You can expect a motivated team and the opportunity to take on a central role in a student film project.
The film should be about 3-4 minutes long at the end.

Role / Requirements profile
Alex is a student in his early to mid-20s and initially comes across as a likeable, charming and self-confident young man. He meets Lisa by chance in a café and quickly manages to gain her trust and get to know her better. To the outside world, he appears friendly, attentive and interested. At the same time, many things about him remain unclear, making him appear more and more mysterious as the story progresses.
As the investigation into the murder in the city park progresses, Alex increasingly becomes the focus of Lisa's suspicions. Small behaviors, strange statements and apparent clues make him appear suspicious time and again. The character therefore constantly moves between trust and suspicion and plays a decisive role in the suspense of the film.
For the role, I am looking for an actor who can credibly embody both a sympathetic and approachable charisma as well as a mysterious and difficult to assess side. A natural acting style, a confident demeanor and the ability to build tension through subtle facial expressions, looks and body language are particularly important.
