This project aims to sensitively shift perceptions around obesity and type 2 diabetes, challenging long-standing stigma and stereotypes. We want to show real people living real lives — not clichés.
The visual language will reflect a journey of emotions: moments of exclusion and prejudice, but also hope, confidence, joy, and optimism, highlighting how medical support and professional care can be an important first step.
The project will be photographed and filmed in a documentary style, with great attention to detail and a compassionate, respectful lens by a female documentary photographer (Julia Selmmann).
While the background of the project relates to a medical treatment, no pharmaceutical product will be directly advertised. The focus is on awareness, empathy, and encouraging people to seek medical advice.
The clear goal for 2026 is conversion in the sense of increased doctor visits — showing that asking for help is a strong and positive decision.
No speaking parts, mainly photo campaign, talents can be based anywhere in EU&UK.
IMAGE & CONTENT OUTPUT
The image pool for social media and PR will include:
24 hero stills
3 product-related visuals
Close-ups of emotions and details (hands, knees, everyday moments, flyers, etc.)
50 side shots
25 short moving-image snippets (5–10 seconds), derived from the hero shots
The focus is primarily photography, with some additional moving image.

FEE & USAGE
Main cast:
€1,000 per shoot day per talent (4–7 shoot days)
Buyout: €4,500 (450%)
+ 20% agency fee (if talent is represented by an agency)
2 travel days to Cape Town, paid at 50% of the daily rate each
Usage:
3 years, DACH, all media (excluding TV & cinema)
Social media & internet, incl. passive retention after expiry
PR usage: 10 years, worldwide (PR only, no additional advertising motifs)
