Host:ess (m/w/d) for a Gamescom Event in Cologne

For an exhibition booth during Gamescom in Cologne, we are looking for a Host / Portal Manager to support guest flow before visitors enter the main experience area.

This is an operational guest management role with high responsibility. The Host will organize visitors in the portal area, help form guest groups, identify solo visitors, direct people to the right spots and support a smooth transition into the next part of the experience.

We are looking for someone with a strong overview, clear communication and a calm, confident presence. The role suits someone with a stage-manager mindset who can read the room, spot issues early and guide people before they need to ask.

Full availability from 24 to 30 August is required.

Fee: 15 € per hour - Final details depending on assignment and schedule.

We are looking for a host with excellent people management skills, operational awareness and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Experience in events, crowd flow, guest management, stage management, production support, hospitality or team coordination is a strong plus.

The role is suitable for someone proactive, structured and solution-oriented, with the confidence to give clear instructions while keeping the guest experience friendly and professional.

German and English are strongly preferred for this role.
