Host:ess (m/f/d) for a Gamescom Event in Cologne

Become part of an immersive fantasy gaming world.
For an exhibition booth during Gamescom in Cologne, we are looking for a Host / Storytelling Greeter to welcome visitors and guide them into the experience.

This is a guest-facing role with a strong storytelling element. The host will welcome visitors in the booth area, introduce the atmosphere of the fantasy world, support the guest flow and may deliver a short scripted introduction of around 2 to 3 minutes.

We are looking for someone warm, confident and present, with the ability to speak clearly, hold attention and create a strong first impression. Acting, hosting or storytelling experience is a plus, but the most important qualities are confidence, strong communication and the ability to keep energy high throughout long event days.

Full availability from 24 to 30 August is required.

Fee: 15 € per hour - Final details depending on assignment and schedule.

German and English are required or strongly preferred for this role.

We are looking for a host with a confident speaking voice, natural warmth and a professional way of interacting with visitors. The role is suitable for someone with experience in hosting, events, brand ambassador work, acting, moderation, storytelling or live communication.

The visual direction is inspired by a fantasy world with Middle Eastern influences. Applications are welcome from all backgrounds.
What matters most is that the host’s presence, communication style and energy fit the atmosphere of the booth.
