Background extras (m/f/d) for a train scene of the student production »Peas«

We’re Upperfast, a production company based in Berlin and Stuttgart. For our passion project “Peas” (for Hinge, directed by Leve Kühl), we are currently looking for background actors for a bar scene.

For the train scene, we’re looking for a diverse group of people ranging from toddlers to those in their 70s to appear as background actors. They will be seated on the train, chatting with a partner or friends, or scrolling on their phones.

There is no budget, but we may be able to cover travel expenses. Extras should ideally be based in Berlin.

The film "Pears" follows Metin, a young man with a Turkish background, who brings his French boyfriend Léo home to meet his parents for the first time – while hiding the fact that they actually met on a dating app.

With humor and warmth, Peas explores the little lies and absurd cover stories people sometimes create to disguise online dating – and shows that, in the end, it’s the real connection that matters.
