Leading actor (m/d) for a student mockumentary

The project is a student short film. We are students at the SAE Institute Leipzig and are shooting our final diploma project in July.

It's a mockumentary of about 20 minutes with a politically relevant topic.

The logline for it is as follows:
The arrogant politician Christian Lindner wakes up in the body of a citizen money recipient after a campaign appearance during which he is cursed by a counter-protester. He quickly realizes that he has to go through his everyday life full of difficulties in order to return to his old life.

As it is a student project, this job is unfortunately not remunerated. However, there will of course be catering on all filming days.

The actor should preferably come from Leipzig/the surrounding area, as we cannot cover travel costs.

The shooting time is 4 days, whereby we plan a 5th day as a buffer. The shooting period is set for mid-July, with the exact days still to be determined.

The character:
Ronny Klein is a 31-year-old single man who lives in a small one-bedroom apartment in Leipzig. He is introverted, insecure, but creative with many interests. His environment is quite small with a few close friendships. His dream is to find a job in the film industry. However, due to various obstacles in his life so far, he has not yet been able to fulfill this dream and is currently receiving a citizen's allowance.
IMPORTANT: Ronny is not seen as a real person in the film, his story is told with his appearance and his apartment. Because at the time of the movie, his body is that of former FDP politician Christian Lindner.
ROLE REQUIREMENT:
The actor is supposed to impersonate Christian Lindner, which means the facial expressions, way of speaking and gestures should be taken over by Lindner. This means that the person Christian Lindner should be well studied and imitated.

Appearance:

• Maximum height 178cm

• Thin hair / receding hairline

• Slim build
