Strong extras (m/d) as "bodyguards" for an opera production

For our new production of the opera "Die Entführung aus dem Serail" we are looking for strong (muscular) gentlemen for the role of bodyguards and stage crew. The gentlemen should preferably have a migration background (Arabic, Turkish).

The main role of the play will be played by a well-known comedian.

We are organizing a casting for this on 6 March 2026 at 5.30 pm. The meeting point is 5.15 pm in the canteen of our Intendanz building (Hinter der katholischen Kirche 1, 10117 Berlin).

There will then be a rehearsal with a fight trainer on March 7, 2026.

The official rehearsals will start on May 18, 2026.

The performances are planned for the following dates:

Sa              27.06.26               18.00 hrs                            

Mi          01.07.26               19.00 hrs                            

So           05.07.26                19.00 hrs                            

Mi          08.07.26               19.00 hrs          

Sa           11.07.26               19.00 hrs                          

Full availability should be given.

We pay 15,00 € / hour for the rehearsals. The rehearsals are usually scheduled for 3 hours.

The performance fees will then be higher. I reckon on around €70-120.00 per performance, depending on the size of the role.
