Creator:innen (m/f/d) for a Germany-wide social media project

Are you 17 to 23 years old and create content on TikTok and want to learn more about the history of the GDR?

But without history books! Instead, you show your perspective, ask questions and help shape a very special project yourself.

What's it all about?

For a social media project, we are bringing together young creators from all over Germany in one house.

Together, you will take part in workshops, meet contemporary witnesses and experts and produce TikTok content that combines history, the present and your own experiences.

It's about:

• Remembering & storytelling

• East & West, origin & identity

• Democracy, social media & responsibility

• Your questions, your voices, your formats

When & where?

Workshops: March & May (Leipzig & Chemnitz)

Shoot in house: September (Chemnitz)

Travel, accommodation & meals provided.

Who we are looking for:

• Creators:between 17 and 23 years old

• active on TikTok (range doesn't matter)

• open, curious, opinionated

• from East or West, city or country

• expressly welcome: diverse, queer and migrant perspectives.

You don't have to be a history expert - curiosity and an open mind count more than prior knowledge.
