The Staatstheater Mainz is a multi-discipline theater consisting of music theater, drama, concert and contemporary dance. All divisions also develop productions for the children's and youth theater justmainz.
The Staatstheater Mainz has four venues, which are used by all divisions in a broad repertoire. A total of around thirty premieres are produced each season.
Around 390 permanent employees and almost as many temporary or guest employees work at the theater, which also has its own theater catering.
