Das Video geht viral und es hagelt Likes und Nachrichten etc. Ua. eben auch kleine Social Media Reels, in denen Menschen die Choreographie nachtanzen. Das kann lustig aussehen, oder auch proffessionell. Auf jeden Fall sind die Reels privat - Zuhause oder wo auch immer von euch selber aufgenommen. Ihr müßt also nicht zum Drehort etc. kommen, sondern probt eigenständig und nehmt euch dann eigenständig auf. Der Song und die Choreographie werden gerade erstellt. Die Performance Roots!Resist! wird sich mit einem interdisziplinären Team aus Tänzerinnen, Musikerinnen und Schauspieler*innen mit dem Thema „Widerstand“ beschäftigen. Als Stückgrundlage dient die Jahrhundert-Revue des Théâtre de Campagnol "Le Bal". Welche Spuren haben Widerstandsgruppen wie „Die Edelweißpiraten“ bis heute hinterlassen? Wiederholt sich Geschichte in Europa gerade? Welche Auswirkungen haben die vergangenen Europawahlen auf unser freiheitliches Zusammenleben heute? Die Bühne dient als Brennglas der Gesellschaft, in dem politische Umwälzungen, biografische (transkulturelle) Geschichten und neue aufkommende Gefahren durch rechtsextremistische Bewegungen und Parteien eine zentrale Rolle spielen werden. Während der Recherchephase werden wir Menschen interviewen, die sich aktivistisch gegen rechte Hetze organisieren. In Kooperation mit dem BüZe Ehrenfeld werden u. a. junge Menschen aus der offenen Jugendarbeit und weitere Gruppen aus der soziokulturellen Praxis des BüZe’s eingeladen, sich gegenseitig zu empowern und ihre jeweilige Perspektive in das Projekt einzubringen. Wir werden gemeinsam mit einem interdisziplinären Ensemble mit Hilfe des Hip Hops und des Theaters eine Performance entwickeln, die die Vielfalt feiert und in einen historischen Kontext stellt.Die Proben beginnen am 14.09. und finden bis zum 12.10. regelmäßig in Köln jeweils von 10-14 Uhr statt. Einzelne Termine wie der 14.09. /17-20 Uhr) finden auch zu anderen Zeiten statt. Einzelheiten dazu nach erfolgreicher Bewerbung. Anschließend gibt es eine Pause bis einschließlich 11.11.2024. Während der Pause arbeitet im Zeitraum 14.10.- 26.10. ein Teil des Ensembles ausschließlich mit Jugendlichen Laien zum Thema Diskriminierung und Rassismus. Diese Arbeit wird gesondert vergütet. Bitte auch hierfür bewerben. Dieses Projekt wird unter der Überschrift "Per.Forme- Zusammen gegen Diskriminierung" hier ausgeschrieben.
