People (m/f/d) with an unexpected nationality / a special passport for a ZDFneo show

For a new ZDFneo show featuring a well-known host, we’re looking for people whose passport or nationality you might not immediately be able to guess at first glance.

The episode centers on the question: Who has which passport?

The host and a celebrity guest must use conversation, appearance, and gut instinct to determine which person holds which nationality. We’re particularly interested in people whose first impression doesn’t match common expectations or stereotypes.

Examples include people who hold a passport from a country that isn’t immediately apparent from their appearance, people with a binational background, or individuals whose origins, family, or life story are more surprising than one might assume at first glance.

Important: The goal is not to judge someone’s background or pigeonhole people. The show deliberately plays with first impressions and demonstrates how quickly one can be mistaken.

We’re particularly interested in people with a surprising family history, a binational background, multiple passports, or a nationality that doesn’t match what others would typically assume.

You should be willing to talk on camera about your background, your passport, and your personal story. Camera experience is not necessary. The only important thing is that you can approach the topic openly, warmly, and honestly.
