Lighting technician (m/f/d) for a short film with a strong visual concept

For our short film shoot with a strong visual concept, we are looking for a reliable lighting technician to support us on two days of shooting in the Cologne area.

The film moves between realistic drama and stylized worlds of light - we attach great importance to lighting mood and visual storytelling.

✅ Minimum requirements:

• Basic knowledge of lighting technology (setup, alignment, control)

• Experience in working with LED, surface or spot lights (e.g. Aputure, Dedolight, Arri)

• Technical understanding and safety awareness when working with electricity

• Technical understanding and safety awareness when working with electricity and tripods

• Ability to implement specific lighting moods after camera and director briefing

• Independent and reliable way of working on set

🎯 Desirable (not a must):

• Own car or class B driver's license

• Own equipment (e. g. E.g. LED lights, C-stands, power supply)

• Experience with film productions / short films / music videos

• Team spirit and flexibility for low-budget shoots

• Creative flair for lighting moods, contrasts, color temperatures
