Actor (m/d) as "Edmund Hardwick" for a comedic student film

Job description
We are looking for actors for our comedy short film "The Film that went wrong: Murder at Wetherby Manor" (working title). A chaotic, self-deprecating murder-mystery in which everything goes wrong.
"The Film that goes wrong" is a comedy short film that pokes fun at movie making itself. Each character is played by an actor who is deliberately bad, exaggerated or just plain embarrassing. The punchline: everything that happens goes spectacularly wrong; from forgotten lines to acting exaggerations to physical mishaps. The film thrives on the actors playing their roles and their own "acting foibles" with humor and creativity.
You slip into the role of a stereotypical murder-mystery character and at the same time into the skin of an actor who messes up the role spectacularly. How you go about it
is up to you: Some ideas are already noted in the script, but there is still room for your own ideas. The main thing is that it's funny and exaggerated!
How to apply:
Shoot a short video (max. 2 minutes) with your interpretation of the role (incl. "acting mishaps", see role description).
Include your name, height, place of residence and the desired role.
Submit the video here by Friday, May 15
Applications WITHOUT VIDEO CANNOT BE CONSIDERED
The shoot is expected to take place at the beginning of June. A filming location is currently being determined, more information on this as soon as possible. The film will be shot and filmed in English.

Role / Requirements profile
Edmund Hardwick - The angry man
Stereotype:
The "red herring" character who makes himself suspicious with his overly angry reactions, but is ultimately not the murderer.
Actor ideas:
- Wants to punch a wall angrily, but hurts himself in the process and tries to cover up the pain for the rest of the scene
- Is clumsy and trips over chairs and other setpieces
Monologue:
Oh, of course you're accusing me! Typical! You're just trying to pin this on someone, on anyone! You think you're so clever with your little notebook and your stupid questions! You didn't see me. You didn't see any of us.But I'll tell you this: I had nothing to do with it!
